About The Position

Vironix Health is an Austin-based healthtech company focused on remote patient monitoring and chronic care management. They partner with healthcare organizations to provide continuous, data-driven care outside of traditional clinical settings. As a fast-moving startup, Vironix is scaling its clinical and internal teams and requires someone to build the necessary people infrastructure to support this growth. The Talent Acquisition & People Operations Manager will have full ownership of recruiting and HR operations for the company's growing nationwide Medical Assistant contractor workforce and lead internal permanent hiring. This role involves building out essential HR infrastructure such as onboarding, payroll coordination, compliance, and employee engagement. It is a high-ownership, high-visibility position reporting directly to executive leadership, requiring a serious commitment due to the demanding nature of startup hiring and managing a large, distributed clinical workforce.

Requirements

  • Ideally 3+ years of recruiting experience, with exposure to both high-volume staffing and internal corporate hiring.
  • Experience in both HR and Recruiting is ideal.
  • Startup experience is a strong plus.
  • Organized and diligent, capable of juggling multiple open requisitions and contractor touchpoints without anything falling through the cracks.
  • Genuinely passionate about building something and growing the function and the company.
  • Strong work ethic and resilience under pressure, able to handle pressure calmly and keep moving forward.
  • Comfortable wearing both recruiting and HR operational hats.
  • Available to prioritize this role as their primary professional focus.
  • Tech-comfortable, familiar with ATS platforms and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to use and help improve internal tools and automations.

Responsibilities

  • Full-cycle recruiting for Medical Assistant contractor roles across multiple states, maintaining pace with a growing workforce.
  • Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for clinical contractor positions.
  • Managing multi-state hiring pipelines simultaneously, considering licensing, timezone, and market nuances.
  • Maintaining and improving contractor onboarding materials, FAQs, and candidate-facing resources.
  • Owning requisitions for internal roles including Account Executives and Engineering positions.
  • Partnering with hiring managers and executive leadership to define role requirements, compensation structure, and hiring timelines.
  • Managing the full internal candidate experience from job description through offer and onboarding.
  • Coordinating payroll processes and ensuring accurate, timely contractor payments.
  • Owning onboarding operations, including provisioning, compliance documentation, HIPAA training, and account setup.
  • Managing compliance tracking for security, certifications, and contractor documentation.
  • Fielding day-to-day HR questions and issues from contractors and employees, and escalating when necessary.
  • Maintaining and improving the recruiting/HR tech stack (Workable and onboarding automation).
  • Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive recruiting/HR workflows.
  • Keeping documentation, trackers, and dashboards current for leadership visibility into headcount, pipeline, and compliance status.
