About The Position

The START Center for Cancer Research (“START”) is the world’s largest early phase site network, fully dedicated to oncology clinical research. Throughout our history, START has provided hope to cancer patients in global community practices by offering "Hope Through Access” to cutting edge trials throughout the United States and Europe. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead talent-sourcing efforts and drive full-cycle recruitment for roles within the Preclinical and/or Phase One business units. This role also collaborates with the talent acquisition teams to enhance and implement best practices and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and optimizing the overall talent acquisition process. In addition, this role will play a crucial role in identifying the best fit for roles by interviewing candidates and guiding hiring managers through the decision-making process. This is a remote role. The annual base salary for this role is $80,000 - $90,000. However, base pay may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Work Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle Recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in talent acquisition within a pharmaceutical, CRO, biotech and/or healthcare environment.

Nice To Haves

  • HR and/or TA certifications.
  • Experience working in an oncology environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to attract and recruit top talent, building strong relationships to understand recruitment needs and gain in-depth knowledge of departmental business objectives, short- and long-term talent requirements, operations, and culture.
  • Work proactively to move the recruiting process forward to fill roles quickly.
  • Take a proactive approach to building and maintaining a robust talent pipeline, using networking and social media to connect with high-quality candidates.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to offer negotiation through clear, effective, and service-oriented communication
  • Develop effective sourcing strategies to reduce reliance on external agencies, leveraging market insights to optimize search processes.
  • Continuously monitors industry trends and practices and adapts approaches to enhance candidate attraction and selection.
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics, providing hiring managers with regular updates and insights to improve decision-making and streamline hiring process.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate within the Talent Acquisition teams to adopt standard processes and share best practices.
  • Manage external partnerships and vendor relations that support Talent Acquisition objectives.
