Summary: The Talent Acquisition Manager role will significantly strengthen the organization’s talent acquisition function by expanding leadership capacity, improving workforce planning, and enhancing recruitment operations. The Talent Acquisition Manager will provide essential operational oversight across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and team performance. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Must Possess 4 Year Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Demonstrate 3 to 5 years of management experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS - Paycom preferred, and other applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 6 Recruiters and 2 HR Recruitment Assistants, providing guidance, support, coaching, and performance oversight to ensure recruitment goals and service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Generate sourcing reports, monitor recruitment trends, and analyze hiring outcomes to improve recruitment effectiveness and inform strategic decision-making across job fairs, college fairs, and community outreach efforts.
  • Oversee onboarding activities and ensure HR Recruitment Assistants provide consistent, high-quality support to programs across New Hyde Park, Huntington, Elmont, and other locations.
  • Promote WellLife Network’s culture, values, and employment opportunities through employer branding initiatives on platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed, strengthening the organization’s visibility and competitiveness in the talent market.
  • Conduct audits of HR Shared Drive applicant and employee files to ensure standardization, documentation accuracy, and timely tracking of professional license renewals.
  • Manage background clearance processes, oversee state audit follow-up activities, process termination of authorized persons, and maintain employee records information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain the job description repository to ensure efficient access, accuracy, and timely updates for all programs and newly created positions.
  • Lead or support organizational projects as assigned, contributing to operational oversight and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assume responsibility for managing recruitment activities, overseeing requisition flow, supporting recruiters, and handling critical vacancies.
