About The Position

Victaulic is seeking a seasoned Talent Acquisition leader who thrives in the middle of the action. This role involves building and developing a team while also closing hard-to-fill, senior-level roles. The position is not a behind-the-desk manager position; the individual will own a direct requisition load of senior-level hires while leading a team of approximately 6 recruiters and 2 coordinators. This role is ideal for someone energized by both the craft of recruiting and the responsibility of developing others.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience.
  • At least 3-5 years in a formal leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
  • Currently (or recently) in a Talent Acquisition Manager role within a corporate environment.
  • Proven experience recruiting for senior-level roles.
  • Experience with Workday Recruiting strongly preferred; ATS fluency is a must.
  • Strong communicator and influencer.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience is a plus.
  • A true player-coach: equally comfortable strategizing with leadership as you are reviewing a sourcing plan with a recruiter.
  • Track record of building high-performing, engaged recruiting teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and the ability to build trusted advisory relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders.
  • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
  • Process optimization and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Change management and the ability to lead through ambiguity.
  • A hands-on leader who leads by example.
  • Comfortable balancing strategy and execution.
  • Data-driven but relationship-focused.
  • Highly adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Credible with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 6 recruiters and 2 Coordinators, owning their growth, performance, and day-to-day experience.
  • Set clear expectations, hold regular 1:1s, and build individualized development plans for team members.
  • Manage requisition load distribution, prioritization, and coverage to ensure the team operates at peak capacity.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and director-level positions across the organization, averaging 20-30 hires per year.
  • Run intake meetings, lead sourcing strategy, manage candidate experience, and close offers for complex, high-visibility roles.
  • Build and maintain executive-level talent pipelines.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and HRBPs on talent strategy, market intelligence, and hiring approach.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to forecast demand, shape workforce plans, and stay ahead of hiring needs.
  • Champion process improvements to reduce time-to-fill, strengthen candidate quality, and enhance the hiring manager experience.
  • Leverage data and recruiting metrics to report on team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate requisition and candidate data in Workday Recruiting and ensure reporting integrity for the team's portfolio.
