About The Position

The Manager, Talent Acquisition — Clinician Recruiting is a strategic people leader responsible for overseeing clinician recruiting across Autism Learning Partners. This role owns the clinician recruiting strategy for the organization, leading a team of four Recruiters who manage hiring for Program Managers, Senior Program Managers, BCBAs, and Senior BCBAs. In addition to leading the team, the Manager personally carries a small Clinical Director req load. The Manager serves as the primary thought partner to regional and functional VPs on clinician talent strategy, pipeline health, and market trends, and is accountable for the performance, culture, and continuous improvement of the clinician recruiting function.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable recruiting plans.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to VPs and senior leaders.
  • Data-driven approach to recruiting — comfortable building and interpreting recruiting metrics and dashboards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building trusted relationships with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and hiring pipelines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and ZipRecruiter or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; focus in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 2–3 years focused on senior-level or clinical/licensed professional roles.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience, with demonstrated success developing and leading a recruiting team.
  • Must pass a background and reference check

  • Experience managing external vendor and staffing agency relationships preferred.
  • Background in healthcare, behavioral health, ABA, or a related clinical field strongly preferred; familiarity with the Clinical Director or BCBA talent market is a significant plus.
  • Proven ability to design and execute passive talent strategies in a competitive, specialized talent market.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end clinician recruiting strategy, covering Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, BCBA, and Senior BCBA roles across all regions — ensuring alignment with organizational growth goals and workforce planning.
  • Personally manage a small Clinical Director req load, serving as a full-cycle recruiter for these senior-level searches from sourcing through offer.
  • Design and continuously evolve passive talent strategies, pipeline development, and sourcing methodologies to identify and attract top-tier clinician talent in a competitive market.
  • Partner with Clinical VPs to understand hiring needs, share recruiting strategy, present pipeline health, and serve as a trusted thought partner on clinician talent market dynamics.
  • Analyze recruiting data and market intelligence on an ongoing basis to refine strategies, benchmark against competitors, and proactively surface insights to senior leadership.
  • Represent Autism Learning Partners at relevant professional events, conferences, and clinician networks to build brand awareness and deepen the talent pipeline.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of four Recruiters, establishing clear performance expectations and fostering a high-accountability, high-support team culture.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, structured feedback, and career development support to help each team member grow within their role.
  • Ensure the team consistently applies best practices across all stages of the recruiting lifecycle: sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, offer negotiation, and handoff to onboarding.
  • Drive recruiter productivity and quality metrics, identifying and resolving process gaps that affect speed-to-fill or candidate experience.
  • Manage relationships with staffing agencies and external recruiting vendors, including negotiating terms, setting performance expectations, and evaluating ROI.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clinician recruiting’s vendor escalations and act as a strategic liaison between external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess the vendor landscape and make recommendations to leadership on partnerships that best support ALP’s hiring objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with VPs and regional leaders, conducting regular strategy sessions to share pipeline status, hiring projections, and market insights.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Onboarding, HR, and Clinical Operations to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee experience.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on clinician recruiting, contributing perspective and recommendations to broader Talent Acquisition initiatives.
