Job Overview The Lead, Talent Acquisition is responsible for recruiting and hiring hourly talent and managing various administrative tasks within a Supply Chain Facility, which may include multiple locations. This role supports building leadership with internal talent needs, such as managing the internal application process, scheduling interviews, and coordinating transfers and referrals.

Requirements

  • Candidate Experience Management: Skilled in overseeing the candidate journey, including communication, interview scheduling, and ensuring smooth onboarding and offer processes
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Strong leadership abilities with experience in partnering with facility leadership and regional Talent Managers to support staffing needs and coordinate recruitment activities
  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Ability to review hiring reports, track open positions, and align staffing levels with targeted headcount goals
  • Compliance & Auditing: Knowledge of compliance processes, including I-9 reverifications, background checks, and document retention to ensure adherence to company policies
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely, and maintain open communication with internal teams and applicants
  • Problem-Solving & Flexibility: Creative, strategic thinker who can adapt to changing priorities and customer needs, including working flexible hours as required
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using computers, handheld devices, and recruiting software to manage recruitment tasks efficiently
  • Organizational & Administrative Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage job postings, requisitions, and colleague data changes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with leadership and partners at various levels, demonstrating professionalism and approachability

  • This position requires constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands.
  • Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 10 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
  • May involve reaching above eye level
  • Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs
  • Able to travel within division/market of responsibility and travel overnight based on the needs of the business

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of Human Resources, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Independently lead day-to-day talent activities, ensuring efficient recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Oversee the candidate experience, including communication with applicants, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth offer and onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with leadership and the regional Talent Manager to coordinate onsite and external job fairs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with facility leadership and regional partners.
  • Review reports and communicate with facility leadership to identify hiring needs and track open positions against targeted headcount.
  • Assist with ordering and monitoring Background Checks and Drug Screenings as required.
  • Schedule new hire start dates and notify People Leaders.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new colleagues.
  • Manage and update job postings, ensuring proper disposition of candidate requisitions.
  • Input colleague status changes, transfers, and data corrections as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company audits, including I-9 reverifications, document retention, and required postings.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities
