About The Position

OPSPro specializes in providing small businesses and government contractors with compliance and operational support, including HR, Payroll, Accounting, Contracting, and IT. The Talent Acquisition Lead works independently to ensure OPSPro's recruiting strategies are up-to-date and adaptable to a variety of clients. This role provides advice to clients on recruiting, interviewing, and improving brand awareness. The position involves identifying opportunities to build applicant pools, establishing trust and partnerships with managers, identifying potential candidates through effective interviewing and testing, administering the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensuring a positive new hire experience.

  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Lead or similar role with 5+ years managing all phases of the full lifecycle recruitment process.
  • Familiarity with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
  • Hands-on experience with full lifecycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Knowledge of a variety of Applicant Tracking Systems(ATS).
  • Keen understanding of the differences between various roles within government contracting and security clearance requirements.
  • General knowledge of employment law and legal hiring practices.

Responsibilities

  • Creates/updates recruiting procedures to fit a variety of client sizes, preferences, and software platforms.
  • Serves as a Lead Subject Matter expert by attending client intake and service overview calls with the HR Director.
  • Searches for and enforces new sourcing methods to find job candidates.
  • Evaluate and suggest the best recruiting software and methodologies.
  • Suggests ways to improve the employer's brand.
  • Researches the best job advertising techniques.
  • Advises hiring managers on proper interviewing methods.
  • Consults with leaders, hiring managers, and human resources on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  • Researches and recommends new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Continuously develop networks and partnerships to actively build a database/pipeline of candidates.
  • Identifies and implements effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Utilizes sourcing methods and tools to proactively connect with potential candidates.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates for the interviewing process using iSolved Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Schedules interviews, oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection material as needed.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conducts regular follow-ups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting efforts.
  • Responds timely to internal and external stakeholders regarding applicant status and applicant requests as required.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Including Vets25 reporting.
  • Report efforts on a weekly basis via a standardized recruiting report for each open requisition.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
