As the Vice President in Professional Recruitment, your primary focus will be to execute a comprehensive and results-driven recruiting strategy to attract, source, and recruit an exceptional pool of candidates. Reporting directly to the Head of Lateral Investment & Executive Recruiting, you will take charge of driving the full lifecycle recruiting process and serve as a prominent representative of Blackstone.

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience with full lifecycle recruiting in an investment-focused environment or staffing firm supporting financial services clients
  • Familiarity with compensation structures within the asset management industry, and experience developing complex offer proposals
  • Demonstrated experience to think strategically and execute effective sourcing strategies utilizing various channels, including job boards, associations, employee referral programs, internal mobility, social media, and internet searches
  • Proficiency in recruiting technology, including Boolean search logic, LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Outlook, web-based platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Exceptional execution skills, with experience of driving multiple priorities
  • Proven track record of successfully executing in a dynamic, high-touch recruitment environment
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding professional relationship building and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing an innovative and effective recruiting strategy to meet the organization's talent needs
  • Proactively sourcing, screening, and assessing highly qualified candidates for open positions
  • Identifying and attracting top-tier investment talent through a wide range of sources and channels
  • Exhibiting an in-depth understanding of the firm’s Private Equity businesses and their specific talent requirements
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on market trends, industry activity, and best practices in recruitment
  • Providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance and streamline the recruitment process
  • Ensuring seamless and transparent communication with internal stakeholders and candidates throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Proactively developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns to address niche and specialized talent needs
  • Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with search firms to maintain market connectivity and access to top talent
  • Providing regular market and candidate updates to key stakeholders within the organization
  • Collaborating closely with HR and Compensation teams to structure competitive and compelling offer packages
  • Demonstrating a deep understanding of alternative investment strategies and their impact on talent acquisition
