Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, HR operations, or a similar role.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, particularly in relation to payroll backup responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with employees at all levels.
Proactive mindset, collaborative attitude, and willingness to contribute across all HR functions.
Strong sense of confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
Ability to communicate in both French and English as required for the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective talent attraction strategies.
Deliver a professional, positive, and people-focused candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of HR data within the HR information system and employee records, including hires, transfers, departures, and organizational charts.
Manage day-to-day HR administrative activities, including contracts, letters, onboarding and offboarding processes, benefits administration, visas, and compliance documentation.
Prepare HR metrics and reports for the leadership team.
Participate in the continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and systems.
Act as a backup resource for payroll processing to ensure business continuity during absences and peak periods.
Develop a solid understanding of payroll cycles, required data, and regulatory requirements.
Support the accuracy of payroll-related data, including attendance, absences, bonuses, and deductions.
