About The Position

At SCS Engineers, we’re seeking a highly organized, process‑driven Talent Acquisition Coordinator who excels at managing details, maintaining workflows, and ensuring our hiring operations function seamlessly. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support that keeps our recruiting activities running effectively. Your responsibilities will include preparing and posting job requisitions, coordinating interview logistics, managing post‑offer documentation, maintaining accurate data within our systems, and supporting process consistency across the Talent Acquisition function. Your work will play a key role in helping candidates move through the hiring process smoothly while enabling our team to operate with clarity and precision. This position is based in our Long Beach Headquarters with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule (minimum of 2 days per week in office) and reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of human resources, recruiting, or administrative experience required
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) required
  • Valid driver’s license with a driving record in good standing required

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support and coordination for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Responsible for all reporting for Talent Acquisition
  • Draft job postings and open requisitions for the Talent Acquisition team, including posting jobs to external sources such as college job boards
  • Draft offer letters for the Talent Acquisition team
  • Oversee the post offer process, including initiating and tracking background checks and other pre employment steps, communicating with candidates, and partnering with HR Operations
  • Assist with interview scheduling and sending feedback forms
  • Assist in posting company news on the company Intranet, Glassdoor or Indeed pages, and creating social media recruiting content
  • Oversee the hiring of temporary to permanent conversions and serve as a back up for full cycle recruiting on other requisitions
  • Manage Applicant Tracking System (ATS) database for assigned requisitions and assist with entering candidates into the CRM
  • Assist in innovative candidate sourcing utilizing a variety of options that may include: internet sources such as LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, social media, job fairs, professional associations, employee referral program, and conferences
  • Present a professional image as a representative of the company and may represent SCS at recruiting and outreach events
