About The Position

As a Takeout Attendant, your warm and professional customer service skills will shine through as you greet and assist customers, ensure accurate order processing, collaborate with our delivery team, and maintain a clean take-out area. Requirements

Must be 18+
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer interactions with professionalism
Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Bilingualism (English and French)
Have a Valid work permit or be a Canadian resident

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar role or customer service preferred
Ability to work without supervision in a busy environment
A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well under pressure
Strong mathematical skills

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner
Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
Receive and process take-out and delivery orders from customers both in person and over the phone.
Enter orders accurately into the POS system and ensure all special requests are noted.
Be familiar with the Rail menu and daily specials
Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Verify and dispatch orders
Assist drivers in locating customers’ addresses
Confirm with the online tablet (delivery service) when an order is ready for pick up
Maintain a clean and organized take-out area
Balance your cash at the end of each shift
