About The Position

Under the direction of the Team Leader and Production Team Leader, the Textile Tagger is to tag all graded textiles before they are rolled out to the sales floor. The textile tagger must also maintain the production area must also be kept clean, neat, and in safe conditions. The Textile Tagger will tag graded textile donations as they are processed onto proper rolling racks, keep the production area clean and safe, and other store areas as directed. They must also maintain a well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code, including a name badge. Other duties may be assigned by the Team Leader or Production Team Leader.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to the organizations Core Principles.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to quality and garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc.).
• Knowledge of retail or stock handling.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• No computer skills are required for this position.
• Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
