About The Position

Under the direction of the Team Leader and Production Team Leader, this role involves processing all textile donations. Key responsibilities include pricing and tagging textile donations, and maintaining the work area according to Kaizen layout and processing standards.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s Core Principles.
• Knowledge of textile articles related to quality and garment classification (gowns, shirts, pants, etc.).
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
• Ability to listen and follow directions.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time.
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull.
• Sufficient mobility to turn from side to side and the ability to lean and remove items from containers.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tag priced textile donations as they are processed onto proper rolling racks.
• Tag garments promptly to maintain the prescribed production level and follow established procedures.
• Keep the production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Production Team Leader.
