About The Position
The Tactile Inspector is under the general direction of the Production Lead. This role requires visually detecting product non-conformities and performing tasks with little or no supervision. Requirements
- Ensure quality parts to meet customers’ and APP’s requirements.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
- English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (aka green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State due to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and tactile inspections of product, assuring conformity to customer requirements.
- Perform shipping tasks assigned to prepare product for shipping.
- Participate in total quality management projects to achieve continuous improvement.
- Participate in LEAN manufacturing and SPC activities as required.
- Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
