About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer with a flexible schedule. This role requires an individual who can read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. GardaWorld Security is a global champion in sophisticated and tailored security solutions, employing and training highly skilled and dedicated professionals across the globe. Requirements

State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings.
Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
At least five years of security experience.
21+ years of age.
Baton permit.
OC spray permit.
Handcuff permit.
Willing to commute to various sites in Silicon Valley.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

First aid certification.
Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
Work indoor and outdoor in a variable environment.
Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Read and write detailed reports.
Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
React quickly to threats or incidents.
Detain and search.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
