About The Position

GardaWorld is seeking professional, dependable, and highly motivated Tactical Security Guards to join our team in Barrie. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy active patrol duties, and are committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and the public.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and WSIB approved First Aid/CPR certification
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Ability to pass Use of Force (UOF) and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training

Nice To Haves

• Previous tactical or security experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot patrols, including stairwells and common areas
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
• Remove trespassers and unauthorized individuals in accordance with site procedures
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity
• Ensure the safety of staff, visitors, and the public
• Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Enforce site policies and security procedures
