As a Tactical Security Guard, you will maintain a strong security presence at retail centers, shopping malls and other high-traffic sites. You will respond to incidents, conduct proactive patrols, enforce site policies, and assist with emergency situations using strong communication and de-escalation skills.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- Strong communication, situational awareness, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to remain professional and decisive under pressure
- Individuals who take initiative, maintain a visible presence, and confidently engage with the public in a professional manner.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience in tactical, mall, retail, healthcare, or high-profile security is an asset
- CPR/First Aid certification is an asset
Responsibilities
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
- Enforce access control and site policies
- Complete accurate incident reports
- Work alongside site management, emergency responders, and law enforcement when required
- Deliver professional customer service while maintaining safety and security
- Build positive rapport with the public through proactive and professional engagement
