About The Position
GardaWorld is seeking highly motivated and professional Tactical Security Guards to provide a safe and secure environment for clients, visitors, staff, and the public. This role requires a strong security presence, excellent communication skills, sound judgement, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification required
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Ability to pass Use of Force and NVCI
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of people and property
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors
- Enforce safety procedures and standards
- Escort and assist staff/visitors as needed
- Intervene during an emergency or crisis
- Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment
- Be able to work well in stressful settings
