About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Guard - Loss Prevention. This role requires individuals who can read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly, utilizing a keen sense of observation. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Requirements

At least five years of security experience
21+ years of age
Baton permit
OC spray permit
Handcuff permit
State security license
Additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (can be obtained during hiring process)
Provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Nice To Haves

Current or former military or law enforcement experience
First aid certification

Responsibilities

Observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
Work indoor and outdoor in a variable environment.
Provide rapid response in critical situations.
Read and write detailed reports.
Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
React quickly to threats or incidents.
Detain and search.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
