About The Position

EURPAC MRLG, a division of EURPAC Services Inc., has over 60 years of proven success representing consumer packaged goods (CPG) within the complex Military Resale Channel. Providing comprehensive sales and marketing service solutions to our clients. Our process and proprietary technology are designed to deliver success in this unique retail channel. We are looking for a Tactical Business Manager in Kinston, North Carolina or Richmond, Virginia to join our team!

Requirements

  • Strong skill set and experience in oversight and direction of promotional tactics as well as post analysis of those tactics and ability to effectively communicate findings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Willing to travel nationally and internationally as required and approved within budget
  • Must be willing to relocate
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, creative and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment, while maintaining sense of urgency
  • Knowledge/exposure to Nielsen, IRI or any other 3rd party data base

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual client volume plan as assigned by Strategic Client Manager or Business Manager
  • Achieve annual assigned client revenue sales numbers
  • Plan, develop, communicate, and evaluate customer/region specific marketing plans to maximize distribution and merchandising for client promotions and new product introductions
  • Support the retail service team by creating and communicating sales aids/materials to sell marketing plans
  • Effectively communicate business updates on a monthly, quarterly basis to small client portfolio
  • Conduct analysis for category review process to increase TDPs
  • Manage and operate within the established operating and marketing budgets assigned by client
  • Work within a team based environment
  • Gain knowledge of Business Manager role to enable career path to managing large client portfolio
  • Work closely with distributors i.e., providing new item set-ups, suggested order quantities, eliminating overstocks while communicating status to field sales force.
  • Run and analyze market information (i.e., Nielsen, Empower It), with ability to draw conclusions
  • Maintain accurate monthly pricing and product database by working closely with the manufacturer
