Requirements

A minimum age of 18 due to workplace safety requirements.
Valid driver’s license that meets state requirements (CDL Class B with tanker endorsement required).
Clean driving record (MVR) in line with company standards.
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical exam.
Willingness to travel, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and take on night or weekend shifts when needed.
Documentation to meet I-9 requirements.
Professional, courteous attitude and commitment to teamwork and safety.
High school diploma or GED preferred, prior construction experience a plus.
Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
Reasonable accommodations provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate tack trucks and heavy equipment in road, site, and highway construction and paving projects.
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain required documentation, and ensure vehicles meet DOT and company standards.
Follow dispatch instructions, company policies, and all applicable laws and safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA).
Load and unload materials—occasionally manually as required.
Monitor vehicle performance, maintain mileage logs, and keep all equipment clean and in excellent working condition.
Work collaboratively in a team environment, maintaining constant communication and supporting co-workers.
Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members.
Take pride in delivering quality work and maintaining a safe site for everyone.
Performing general labor duties and other tasks as assigned—every day brings something new.
