1st Shift - Table Repair (Entry Level - Starting Pay $16)
About The Position
A successful candidate will support Metrolina teams by maintaining and repairing tables for the Labor team. This position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledgeable of common hand tools
- Ability to read and use measurements
- Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required.
- Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens.
- Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties.
- Candidate must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs arise and during peak seasons.
- Employee must have the ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience is a plus
- Knowledge of Forklift experience
Responsibilities
- Repair broken aluminum tables in the greenhouse
- Prep broken tables for repair
- Other duties as assigned by management
