Requirements

Ability to speak English clearly, listen and follow directions.
Ability to accurately complete paperwork and forms.
Ability to use chips, cards, and a paddle.
Ability to complete, perform and understand basic mathematical functions.
Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in an interruptive environment.
Knowledge of specified games and gaming regulations.
Knowledge of money and chips designations.
Knowledge of theft techniques.
Knowledge of Company policy and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act and internal controls.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
At least one (1) year of experience as a casino dealer OR certification from an accredited dealer school.
Experience dealing at least two (2) of the following games: Black Jack, Craps or Roulette and working knowledge of novelty games.
Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

Dealing the game.
Controlling gaming cards and equipment.
Engaging with guests.
Paying wins/Taking losses.
Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
Analyzing customer play for cheating scams and suspicious variation in play.
Protect company assets by monitoring guests’ movements at table at all times.
Other duties as assigned.
