About The Position

This position is responsible for protecting and controlling specific games assigned, conducting games in accordance with policies and procedures, and handling player transactions. The dealer will notify management of any irregularities or player disputes, maintain a professional atmosphere, and promote departmental and property-wide promotions. The role also requires staying knowledgeable about gaming laws and internal controls, meeting game pace standards, and learning new games.

Requirements

Proven dealer experience, or having successfully passed an audition on the assigned game(s) required.
Basic knowledge of all casino and departmental policies & procedures required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Protects and controls specific game assigned.
Conducts the games in accordance with policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any irregularities.
Advises the Floor Person or Pit Manager of any player disputes or arguments that may arise during the game.
Informs the Floor Supervisor or other more senior Table Games personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their action.
Utilizes ACT standards at all times while maintaining a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere.
Notifies a Floor Person of any guest needs, such as cocktails or host service.
Keeps abreast of, and promotes departmental and property-wide promotions.
Responsible for learning new games when provided appropriate training.
Maintains current knowledge of gaming laws (federal, state, compact, etc.) and attendant regulations, as well as internal controls, policies and procedures.
Meets the department standards for game pace while maintaining accuracy.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
