About The Position

The Table Games Dealer is responsible for the protection and control of the game being dealt. This role conducts the game in accordance with the Casino’s policies and procedures, handling player transactions and notifying supervisors of any irregularities. The dealer must maintain an upbeat and outgoing demeanor, promote outstanding customer relations, and ensure compliance with all casino and cash control policies, practices, and protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • May require the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to work mathematical concepts such as probabilities and statistical inference.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must portray a positive attitude under all circumstances.

Responsibilities

  • Protect and control the game being dealt.
  • Conduct the game in accordance with the Casino’s policies and procedures.
  • Handle player transactions.
  • Notify supervisor of any irregularities.
  • Resolve customer disputes in accordance with authority or contact the reporting senior.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and control protocols.
  • Promote outstanding customer relations.
  • Ensure compliance with all casino and cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting senior.
  • Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program.
  • Understand and comply with established appearance standards.
  • Understand and comply with the attendance policy of the casino.
