About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and professional Dealer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dealing table games efficiently and accurately while maintaining a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The Dealer must ensure fair play, enforce house rules, and provide excellent Guest Service to all players.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum age 21.
  • One (1) or more years of dealing experience in a casino or card room environment. Formal dealing school training may be accepted in lieu of experience.
  • Ability to perform basic mental math quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of blackjack plus 1 additional major game preferred.
  • Multilingual communication skills.
  • Prior customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Deal Table Games with Accuracy and Efficiency.
  • Manage the flow of live poker games.
  • Visually and manually handle cards, chips, and game equipment in accordance with gaming regulations.
  • Perform Basic Mathematical and Money Handling Tasks.
  • Accurately count, collect, and distribute chips.
  • Monitor wagers and payouts while maintaining concentration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide Consistent and Professional Guest Service.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with players and co-workers.
  • Listen, speak, and respond appropriately in a noisy, crowded environment.
  • Monitor and Maintain Game Integrity.
  • Observe player behavior and gameplay for accuracy and fairness.
  • Report irregularities, disputes, or suspicious activity to supervisors as needed.
  • Use Required Tools and Equipment.
  • Operate shuffle machines, chip racks, and table accessories.
  • Adhere to Gaming Regulations and Internal Policies.
  • Follow all house rules, gaming laws, and responsible gaming practices.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
