About The Position

OxyChem is seeking an experienced, self-motivated T&D Accountant/Analyst to oversee financial reporting for its logistics chain and support business decisions across multiple business units. The role owns the company’s Transportation & Distribution profit-and-loss line and works with business managers, accounting, manufacturing sites, and commercial supply chain groups. The successful candidate will help ensure accurate, consistent reporting, analyze business scenarios, and support audits.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, including a minimum of 18 accounting credit hours.
At least 3 years of job-related accounting experience.
Ability to develop strong relationships within accounting, manufacturing sites, and commercial supply chain groups.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools, such as SAP S4, IBM Pax, Microsoft Power BI, and other data visualization applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Prepare and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the OxyChem logistics chain, including consolidated comparisons of actuals, outlook, and plan.
Manage the financial impact across multiple business units and own the company’s T&D profit-and-loss line.
Develop strategic relationships with business managers and supply chain teams, and provide measures of business effectiveness to inform decisions.
Develop creative solutions to help OxyChem become the Partner of Choice.
Lead standardization efforts to promote consistent and accurate reporting.
Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to drive results.
Analyze purchase and lease scenarios and report findings to senior management.
Work with business managers to ensure consistent application of contract terms.
Support internal and external audits.
