About The Position

This position is responsible for verifying load accuracy and product quality prior to shipment. The role involves ensuring all required documentation is properly filled out and signed before the load is released for transport, and maintaining the cleanliness of the working area. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor or group leader.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand shipping schedules.
• Ability to comprehend both written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to plan loads and read loadsheets.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early start times or later end times, Saturdays and overtime as required.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Ability to follow and support all safety rules.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects and tools.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to talk and hear for extended periods, usually the entire shift.
• Ability to lift 70 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Independently verify the accuracy and quality of all product listed on the specified load.
• Assure that all required documentation is properly filled out and signed prior to the release of the load for transport.
• Maintain cleanliness of working area.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or group leader.
