The facilities technician provides all maintenance, repairs, and restorations of facilities including work in carpentry, plumbing, painting, caulking, pressure washing. Must have knowledge in industrial vehicle and/or golf cart repair. Performs office equipment moves and renovations.
Requirements
- +1 year of experience in Handyman position
- Driver's license
- Experience in controlled environments (GMP)

- Experience in epoxy painting
- Experience in controlled work environments is valued

Responsibilities
- Performs general handyman tasks to keep facilities in good condition
- Paints interior and exterior building surfaces
- Performs minor roof repairs
- Installs and replaces insulation on pipes and mechanical systems
- Maintains and repairs locks, latches, bolts, doors, and closers
- Maintains and repairs plumbing components, including toilets, urinals, sinks, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, pipes, and sump pumps
- Provides all other building maintenance, repair, and restoration procedures as instructed
- Patches and paints offices, exteriors, and controlled work environments
- Maintains light bulbs
- General office maintenance - hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems
- Minor repairs to lawn sprinkler system
- Performs special tasks including painting, locksmith work, tenant service requests, special cleaning, and general maintenance as assigned
- Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested
- Complies with policies for safe storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment
- Maintains records of work performed in a clean and organized manner
- All other functions and tasks as assigned
