About The Position

T-Cart Operators handle units in a controlled manner. They move finished sheets from takeoff lines to a transfer cart and then place them on machine feed lines. They also move work-in-process (W.I.P.) sheets from storage area A to storage area B using the middle aisle transfer cart, and move W.I.P. sheets from takeoff lines to a transfer cart and then into the W.I.P. storage area. This position is on the 3rd shift, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., and reports to the Converting Supervisor/Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Check the corrugator run sheet provided by the Scheduling department.
• Report deviations from the schedule and make changes to the Corr Plan Master Schedule.
• Promptly relay messages to appropriate personnel about necessary adjustments.
• Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs and proactively maintain equipment.
• Adhere to the production schedule.
• Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.
• Ensure each unit has the proper load tags.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety requirements and good housekeeping.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
