About The Position

In this impactful, hands-on role, you will drive the verification and performance evaluation of innovative flow cytometry products, ensuring they meet rigorous product and customer standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, immunology, biomedical engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of experience in development, engineering, integration, and testing of complex systems
  • Proficiency in flow cytometry operation, troubleshooting, and applications
  • Hands-on experience with biological sample preparation in a Biosafety Level 2 laboratory
  • Strong background in experimental design, data analysis, and statistical interpretation
  • Systems thinking, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving expertise
  • Familiarity with medical device design controls and regulated quality systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven cross-functional collaboration ability

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with optics, lasers, fluidics, and electromechanical systems
  • Familiarity with software and algorithm development for instrumentation

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and conduct laboratory experiments to verify and validate system and product requirements
  • Develop, execute, and improve test methods, verification protocols, and risk-based testing strategies
  • Analyze scientific and engineering data using advanced statistical methods and systems thinking
  • Document and communicate findings, risks, and recommendations through clear technical reports and presentations
  • Lead small- to medium-scale verification protocols and initiatives, including project planning and team coordination
  • Collaborate across systems, software, and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
  • Apply root-cause analysis and independent judgment to improve products and processes
  • Ensure compliance with design control, quality, biosafety, and safety requirements in a regulated environment
