About The Position

We are Lockheed Martin. You will be the Verification and Validation Systems Engineer for the Enterprise Verification and Validation team. Our team executes verification planning, modeling and execution in support of development contracts. As the Verification and Validation Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Defining system level requirements, analyzing, decomposing and allocating system requirements to all areas of the Air System, including Mission Systems, Vehicle Systems, Mission Planning, Weapons, ALIS, Training, and Support Equipment. Defining system level verification activities through the development of verification requirements and pass criteria to ensure the Air System requirements are being verified through the assessment of program analysis, test and demonstration activities across all areas of the Air System. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Requirements

  • Analysis, project engineering, program management, architecture, or requirements experience
  • Verification, integration, or design experience
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree
  • Technical experience related to system test, evaluation or verification.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Rhapsody, Cameo or other SysML based MBSE experience
  • Strong task coordination and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Knowledge of overall F-35 air system, design, contracts and processes.
  • Experience with written, verbal, and presentation communications skills, including briefing to stakeholders outside of current team, leadership, and customer representatives.
  • Experience using Tableau or other data analytics tools to conduct system analysis.
  • Basic technical leadership and experience operating in an Agile development environment.
