About The Position

This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship. Location Technology System Test Engineer Tests and validates location technology systems spanning software and hardware components, including GNSS positioning, WWAN‑based location (LTE/NR), WLAN‑based positioning (Wi‑Fi), sensor‑based positioning, and geofencing solutions. Interprets wireless, sensor, and positioning specifications to design and execute system‑level test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Performs system integration, functional, and regression testing across lab and field environments. Validates multi‑sensor location solutions that combine GNSS, cellular, Wi‑Fi, and device sensors (e.g., inertial and motion sensors) for improved continuity, accuracy, and robustness. Documents system‑level defects using standardized bug tracking tools and collaborates closely with software, systems, and algorithm teams to drive issue resolution. Leverages agentic AI‑assisted workflows to improve test execution efficiency, automate log post‑processing, and accelerate result analysis for complex location systems. Develops and executes test programs to evaluate new location features and system modifications, ensuring accuracy, stability, and performance across GNSS, WWAN, WLAN, and sensor‑assisted positioning methods.
