About The Position

ModernControls is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Systems & Technology Coordinator to support the administration, coordination, and optimization of critical business systems and operational workflows. This role will ensure continuity and reliability of company platforms while serving as the internal liaison between departments and external technology partners. The position is execution-focused and designed to manage day-to-day system coordination, vendor relationships, and operational processes without requiring deep technical engineering expertise.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with ERP or enterprise business systems
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional tasks
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools
  • Experience coordinating vendors or managed service providers preferred

Nice To Haves

  • 3 to 6 years of experience preferred in operations support, business systems coordination, or similar role
  • Experience supporting onboarding/offboarding workflows
  • Exposure to telecom, security, or device lifecycle management programs
  • Process improvement and SOP development experience
  • Service-based or field operations industry experience

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administration and user access for core company platforms including ERP, phone systems, security/badge systems, and mobile device programs
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding system workflows, including permissions and equipment provisioning
  • Maintain system documentation, credential ownership tracking, and access control oversight
  • Monitor recurring system subscriptions and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Serve as primary internal liaison with external IT and technology vendors
  • Maintain vendor contact lists and escalation pathways
  • Coordinate troubleshooting, upgrades, and system support requests
  • Assist in evaluation and implementation of new systems or vendors as needed
  • Support cross-department system needs for service, finance, operations, and sales teams
  • Coordinate equipment sourcing, deployment, and tracking
  • Assist with documentation of workflows and development of standard operating procedures
  • Support contract administration and vendor lifecycle management
  • Assist with system data accuracy and maintenance
  • Support report generation and operational insights for leadership teams
  • Coordinate with departments to improve system data quality and process consistency
