Position Overview: As Dutch Bros continues its incredible growth, the teams building our future are more critical than ever. We are looking for a technical, problem-solving Technology Business Analyst to own and advance the systems that power our People Technology Team. You will act as a primary technology partner, automating processes and delivering actionable insights to drive business success across these critical functions. You will be the go-to technology partner for helping the organization fully leverage Workday while continuously advancing and maturing our other People Technology systems to ensure our tools are as high-performing as our people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a quantitative field.
  • 3–5+ years in business systems analysis, HRIS architecture, or a similar technical role.
  • Proficiency in Workday reporting tools, data visualization (BI tools), and AI-powered automation.
  • Effective prioritization, change management, functional expertise, and strong communication.

  • In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions
  • Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings
  • Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels
  • Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
  • Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
  • Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
  • Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
  • Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
  • Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support & Maturation of People Systems: Provide comprehensive technical support for the entire People Technology ecosystem. This includes maintaining system stability, managing upgrades, and ensuring all HRIS and peripheral people tools are optimized to support the employee lifecycle.
  • Workday Strategy & Optimization: Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday, identifying underutilized features and implementing configurations that maximize the platform's value for the organization.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Extract and synthesize data using Python, R, or SQL to create dashboards, KPIs, and complex analytics for HR, payroll, and finance.
  • Process Automation: Identify and implement intelligent automation—leveraging AI and Workday Prism—to accelerate workflows and enhance data integrity across Real Estate, Legal, and People teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and manage backlogs of system requests.
  • System Health & Integration: Troubleshoot database issues, configure system changes, and manage integrations between platforms to ensure seamless data flow.
