About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining Microsoft solutions in Azure, including services related to computing, storage, network, and security. The incumbent will supervise and assist current staff with Entra ID application registrations, Azure B2C management, and application deployments. Azure B2C management may include custom policies and claims configurations, application registrations, and secret/certificate monitoring. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing a custom Azure B2C Single Sign-On solution used by millions of users. An understanding of Single Sign-On federation onboarding and support, as well as proactively securing the agency's azure resources and hybrid environments, responding to threats, and enforcing data governance is required. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in the management of Azure DevOps, writing infrastructure as code scripts, and configuring pipelines for custom business applications in Azure or on premises. Management of Power BI and other Microsoft platforms may be required. Strong technical writing skills are required for documenting procedures, processes, and job aids.

Requirements

Knowledge in Cloud based technology such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services platforms, Identity and Access Management and other cloud technologies.
Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document workflow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.
Ability to follow and understand instructions, both written and verbal.
Ability to organize data into a logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain Microsoft solutions in Azure, including services related to computing, storage, network, and security.
Supervise and assist current staff with Entra ID application registrations, Azure B2C management, and application deployments.
Manage Azure B2C custom policies and claims configurations, application registrations, and secret/certificate monitoring.
Manage a custom Azure B2C Single Sign-On solution.
Provide Single Sign-On federation onboarding and support.
Proactively secure the agency's Azure resources and hybrid environments, respond to threats, and enforce data governance.
Assist in the management of Azure DevOps, writing infrastructure as code scripts, and configuring pipelines for custom business applications in Azure or on premises.
Manage Power BI and other Microsoft platforms as required.
Document all processes, procedures, Single Sign-On B2C features, and job aids for the Azure Single Sign-On team.
Assure completeness and accuracy of systems administration, monitoring, and implementation.
Ensure accuracy of work through sufficient validation and testing.
Coordinate with internal and external development teams to manage cloud migration or deployment efforts and Single Sign-On B2C application and Identity Provider onboarding.
Maintain advanced proficiency in troubleshooting technological issues and errors.
Review all deliverables and supporting work products for quality and conformance to departmental standards.
Present project output to management and customers (both oral and written).
Provide management with weekly status reports.
Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with all information technology staff and customers.
