About The Position

Under the supervision of the Senior Superintendent, the Incumbent operates, maintains, inspects, and repairs various building and utility systems, including high-pressure steam boilers, central chillers, heat recovery chillers, heat pump boilers, and cooling towers, BAS electronic, electrical, and pneumatic control systems, and pumps.

Requirements

Understanding of regulatory controls and requirements of NEC, NFPA, AQMD, OSHA, and Joint Commission Standards.
Position is subject to the California DMV's "Pull Notice System" and continued employment is contingent upon proof of a satisfactory driving record.
Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license
Must be available to work alternate work schedules and overtime, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Experience in demolishing existing and/or installing new systems or components.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to use tools of the trade
Ability to install, repair and perform general maintenance on all gas piping.
Ability to handle the physical workload and perform physical labor for extended periods of time.
Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

A working knowledge of computer software used to control electronic equipment in a building automation environment
