Systems Network Engineer
About The Position
Geologics is hiring a TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Poly Systems Network Engineer for a role in Scottsdale, AZ. This is a W2 contract with limited benefits, with the possibility of contract to hire. The role requires installation and maintenance of Windows and Linux patches and updates, including maintaining repositories. It also involves Perl and PowerShell script development/maintenance/usage, and maintenance of network topology utilizing Windows Server DNS and Account Management, Cisco Firewalls and Switches, and Synology NAS. Experience with Government Nessus scans and the ability to resolve findings is necessary. Strong written skills are required for the development and maintenance of documentation for network, system, and operations. The engineer will also maintain and update local and shared Operating System (Windows and Linux) configurations, including McAfee security services. Identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation is a plus.
Requirements
- TS/SCI Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph is required at time of hire
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
- Requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
- Installation/maintenance of Windows and Linux patches and updates to include maintaining repositories
- Perl and PowerShell script development/maintenance/usage
- Maintenance of Network topology that utilize Windows Server DNS and Account Management, Cisco Firewalls and Switches, Synology NAS
