About The Position
Oliver Inc. is seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven Systems & Network Administrator to join our growing IT team. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, supporting end users, and working across infrastructure, networks, and applications, this is an opportunity to make a real impact. As a Systems & Network Administrator, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our IT environment. You'll work closely with our internal IT team to support servers, networks, hardware, and software systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and networking fundamentals
- Experience with VMware virtualization environments
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
- Experience with Active Directory and Windows Domain architecture
- Experience with End-user technical support and troubleshooting
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to all levels of the organization
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- MUST have experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Group Policy, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols (802.1x, Wi-Fi)
- Office 365 support experience
- Experience with VoIP systems, security cameras, and certificate management
- Hands-on experience with hardware deployment (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
- Background in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software across the organization
- Provide end-user support via phone, in-person, and remote tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across systems, networks, and applications
- Monitor and maintain servers, systems, and overall IT infrastructure
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement new technologies and system improvements
