Systems & Network Administrator
About The Position
AKHIRE is recruiting for a Systems & Network Administrator in Anchorage, Alaska. This is a temporary to permanent position with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. The pay rate is $41.00-$45.67 per hour. The role involves administering and supporting the organization's server environment, Microsoft 365 Platform, identity management tools, and cloud services. Responsibilities include investigating and resolving complex technical issues, managing employee accounts and access, installing and maintaining technology equipment, assisting with technology enhancements and roll-outs, maintaining backup solutions, collaborating on technology projects, maintaining IT asset records, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
Requirements
- 2 (+) years of experience in Systems Administration, or related IT experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related experience
Responsibilities
- Administer and support the organization's server environment, Microsoft 365 Platform, identity management tools, and cloud services.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues involving computer systems, applications, network connectivity, and information security.
- Manage employee accounts, access permissions, and authentication for business applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related technology equipment.
- Assist with technology enhancements, system implementations, software roll-outs, and infrastructure improvements.
- Help maintain backup solutions and support business continuity in disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate on technology projects from initial planning through deployment and completion.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, system changes, and technical procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve technical issues, schedule services, and support ongoing technology initiatives.
