About The Position
The Systems/Junior Furniture Installer/Mover supports furniture installation, reconfiguration, repair, relocation, and inventory activities. This position works under the direction of project leads and Space Planners to ensure furniture systems are installed, maintained, and reconfigured accurately and safely while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Ability to read and follow installation drawings and specifications.
- Ability to move furniture, crates, office equipment, and related materials safely.
- Ability to follow established workplace safety procedures and furniture handling standards.
- Ability to provide professional customer service while working within occupied office environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, reconfigure, and relocate modular office furniture systems.
- Support furniture repair and maintenance activities.
- Assist with furniture inventory management and staging operations.
- Read and follow installation drawings and specifications.
- Assist with office moves and workspace reconfiguration projects.
- Move furniture, crates, office equipment, and related materials safely.
- Coordinate with Space Planners and installation teams to complete workspace projects.
- Help maintain organized warehouse and staging areas.
- Follow established workplace safety procedures and furniture handling standards.
- Support furniture key and lock installation activities.
- Ensure installations are completed accurately and according to project requirements.
- Provide professional customer service while working within occupied office environments.
