About The Position

Leading the physical, electrical, and logical integration of advanced avionics, flight management systems, communication links, and sensor suites onto military platforms. Ensuring that separate subsystems built by a variety of defense vendors mesh into a single, cyber-hardened, and highly reliable network for mission success. Collaborating with safety engineers to ensure all integrated systems meet military airworthiness certification standards and FAA regulations where applicable. Creating and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs), wiring diagrams, systems safety assessments, and configuration baselines. Authoring, coordinating, and executing rigorous laboratory, ground, and flight-test verification plans to validate aircraft subsystem interoperability and performance. Coordinating directly with tier-2 aerospace suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to resolve interface control issues and enforce statement of work (SOW) compliance.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of hands-on system integration experience within the defense aerospace or military aviation sectors
  • Proficiency with MS Office products to include MS Project
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level with Top Secret eligibility

Nice To Haves

  • Navy P-8 experience
  • P-3 or commercial aircraft experience
