About The Position

The System Integrator II is responsible for programming and commissioning control systems that bring together multiple sub-systems to meet the operational and regulatory needs of the owner. The System Integrator II will be able to develop and implement logic for assigned project tasks. Requirements including logic development and testing are all day-to-day responsibilities. The Systems Integrator II will ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget. The Systems Integrator II will be coached/mentored by more experienced staff and reports to a Technical Manager or Engineering Supervisor in the department.

Requirements

  • Two year technical degree
  • 2-4 years Industrial Control System, Integration of Robotics Systems, or programming experience in a related field
  • Renewable energy industry exposure – Wind, PV, BESS
  • Working knowledge of communication protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) and internet network architectures
  • Effectively uses common, discipline-specific software
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines by setting priorities
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communication, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and management
  • Gains knowledge by utilizing tutorials and learning modules as development tools
  • Able to read engineering design drawings, including communication diagrams, logic diagrams, and network schematics
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SQL, Access)
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Willing to travel 25-35% of the time
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in US

Responsibilities

  • PLC/HMI/SCADA program development and testing
  • Creation of technical documentation (control logic, test procedures, user manuals, etc.)
  • PLC/RTU programming with one or more of the following platforms: Allen Bradley, Schneider, SEL RTAC
  • HMI/SCADA programming with one or more of the following platforms: Ignition, Wonderware, Kepware/Topserver
  • Supervised on-site commissioning and start-up
  • Take ownership of personal quality
  • Responsible for completing tasks and projects in allotted time
