About The Position

This role involves identifying, collecting, tracking, curating, maintaining, and analyzing static and dynamic data from multiple sources to support government decision-making. The position requires ensuring data accuracy and integrity, conditioning, normalizing, visualizing, and analyzing data for operational and strategic decision-making. The analyst will develop data analysis products and visualizations for workforce planning, support the Zero-Base Review process, and assist in the annual field selection process. Collaboration with developers and stakeholders is key for designing and enhancing data tracking and reporting solutions. The role also includes creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards, utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, managing data within SharePoint, analyzing trends and metrics for actionable insights, ensuring data consistency and compliance, and providing technical and analytical support for workforce management initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline.
  • Ability to fully coordinate master project schedules.
  • Ability to coordinate information flow between programs and organizational managers.
  • Ability to establish functional and technical specifications and standards; solve hardware and software interface problems; define input/output parameters; and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Ability to provide a total systems perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of hardware and software components.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic technical environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a field related to the position.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community.
  • Ability to test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and determine actions needed to improve or correct performance relative to system goals.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • Ability to coordinate with engineers, systems analysts, programmers, technicians, scientists, and senior-level managers in the design, testing, and evaluation of systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical and organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, collect, track, curate, maintain, and analyze static and dynamic data from multiple sources to support government decision-making.
  • Collect and maintain personnel data from various repositories and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Condition, normalize, visualize, and analyze data to support operational and strategic decision-making efforts.
  • Develop data analysis products and visualizations to support workforce planning activities, including analysis of available staff positions versus projected FTE requirements.
  • Support the client’s Zero-Base Review process by capturing, tracking, and analyzing staff position and workforce data.
  • Support the annual field selection process through the creation of spreadsheets, dashboards, and data tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to design and enhance data tracking and reporting solutions.
  • Create, maintain, and update Power BI dashboards and visual analytics products.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including formulas, functions, calculations, data merges, pivot tables, and reporting tools.
  • Maintain and manage data and documentation within SharePoint environments.
  • Analyze trends, metrics, and workforce data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure data consistency, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards and reporting requirements.
  • Provide technical and analytical support for workforce management and reporting initiatives.
