About The Position

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS or GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware or software interface problems, defines input or output parameters, and ensures integration of entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, and develops comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and system level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify or validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience with LabVIEW and 3+ years with TestStand for software code development and support.
  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing and resolving technical problems.
  • 5+ years as a subject matter expert in Radio Frequency or Microwave systems and subsystems.
  • 3+ years of experience developing complex test programs with TestStand development environments.
  • Proven track record of researching and specifying components for test equipment design.
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting measurement issues down to the test instrument, fixturing, software, or unit under test.
  • Proficiency generating assembly and block diagram sketches, parts lists, and engineering documentation.
  • Solid background in deriving test requirements from design or system level requirements.
