About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Systems Integration & Test Engineer in Orlando, Florida for a one-year onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support the integration, verification, and testing of complex hardware and software systems using internally developed and COTS/GOTS components. The engineer will develop test solutions, troubleshoot electrical and software issues, execute comprehensive test activities, and analyze results to verify system performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of electrical troubleshooting experience involving cables, circuit cards, or related electronic hardware.
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, or similar instruments.
  • 2+ years of experience integrating and verifying test equipment.
  • 2+ years of software or code development and modification experience in a test environment.
  • Experience with National Instruments tools such as LabVIEW or TestStand.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and equipment drawings.
  • Experience writing or developing wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, test requirements, and/or test procedures.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware/software interfaces.
  • Ability to analyze test results and identify system or subsystem discrepancies.
  • Strong technical documentation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain system integration and test solutions.
  • Integrate internally developed hardware and software with COTS/GOTS components and subsystems.
  • Translate contractual and technical requirements into executable system test solutions.
  • Develop functional and technical test specifications and standards.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, cable, circuit-card, and interface issues.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive system and subsystem test plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate integration and testing activities with engineering teams and program organizations.
  • Analyze test results and prepare system-level evaluation reports.
  • Verify and validate system performance against technical requirements.
  • Document discrepancies and support resolution of identified hardware or software problems.
  • Perform regression testing to verify incorporated fixes.
  • Develop or modify LabVIEW, TestStand, or other test software as required.
