About The Position

This role involves interacting with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. The engineer will identify functional problems and suggest resolutions, define internal quality control standards, and maintain reliability programs. Responsibilities include documenting and analyzing test cases, providing feedback and recommendations for product or design changes, and ensuring testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards. The position also contributes to the development of improvements in overall testing and quality programs for enhanced results. The engineer will analyze system requirements and concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct data collection and analysis, and report status and results. This role provides visibility into progress and impediments, supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation (e.g., Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports), and works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration. The engineer will provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas, execute test plans and procedures, confirm results of automated tests, and act as a witness for demonstrations and testing events, providing feedback to the government.

Requirements

  • Experience with GEOINT workflows
  • Experience with system of systems testing
  • Experience with test automation software (JMeter, JUnit, Test Complete)
  • Top Secret clearance

Responsibilities

  • Document and analyze test cases and provide feedback and recommendations for product or design changes.
  • Ensure testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.
  • Contribute to the development of improvements to overall testing and quality programs for improved results.
  • Analyze system requirements and concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plan and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.
  • Provide visibility into progress and impediments.
