This role involves a Systems Integration/Test Engineer with a required Top Secret Clearance. The engineer will interact with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. They will identify functional problems and suggest resolutions, define internal quality control standards, and maintain reliability programs. The position requires documenting and analyzing test cases, providing feedback and recommendations for product or design changes, and ensuring testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards. The engineer will contribute to the improvement of overall testing and quality programs. Responsibilities also include analyzing system requirements and concepts of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, preparing for and conducting data collection and analysis, and reporting status and results. Providing visibility into progress and impediments is crucial. The role supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation such as the Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports. Collaboration with other test organizations to support T&E program integration and providing specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas are key aspects. The engineer will execute test plans and procedures, confirm results of automated tests, and act as a witness for demonstrations and testing events, providing feedback to the government.
