About The Position

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for integration and testing of in-house and COTS or GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware or software interface problems, defines input or output parameters, and ensures integration of entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, and develops test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and system level evaluation reports that verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify or validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems. Performs electrical troubleshooting on cables and circuit cards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical instruments. Performs integration and verification of test equipment to ensure system readiness. Develops and updates software code using NI TestStand or LabView, and reads, writes, and develops wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, test requirements, and test procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
  • At least 2 years of experience with electrical troubleshooting on cables and circuit cards using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical instruments.
  • At least 2 years of experience with integration and verification of test equipment.
  • At least 2 years of experience with software or code development and updating in coding languages typically used in testing environments, especially NI products like TestStand or LabView.
  • At least 2 years of experience with reading, writing, and development of wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, test requirements, and test procedures.
  • Able to develop and direct execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems.
  • Able to perform analysis of test results and prepare subsystem and system level evaluation reports.
  • Able to write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing.
  • Experience with hardware and software interface problem solving and defining input and output parameters.
  • Experience coordinating subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
