About The Position

This position is for a System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. The team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products. The IT&E Engineer will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite, generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures, supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities, and supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests. This includes Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware. The role also involves supporting failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies, and providing engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to existing systems. This position requires the ability to travel domestically to support program test events and meetings, up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T)
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, and test analysis principles
  • Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and test script creation
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. A Final Secret Clearance is required to start.

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in I&T, with a focus on environmental testing and Design DVT
  • Experience with HALT testing and production, latent manufacturing defect testing
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and DO-160
  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, such as LabVIEW or TestStand
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as MATLAB or Python
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Experience with design assurance reviews as it relates to verification methods and planning
  • Experience with preparing for Test Readiness and Flight Readiness Reviews
